ATP Turbo makes a wide range of turbo kits for the Focus ST using Garrett turbochargers. Add another one to the list with this externally wastegated setup that features the GTX3071R Gen 2 turbo mixed with your choice of a 0.63 or 0.82 A/R turbine housing. This is a stock location, direct bolt-on turbo kit that features a cast stainless steel v-band turbo adapter. This is made to fit with a factory style downpipe upgrade. The kit comes with all hardware necessary for install except any OEM gaskets that are suggested to be replaced. Oil and water lines are included and the included hardware allows you to adapt the OEM oil return line.
This kit requires the use of a Tial MVS or equivalent wastegate like the Turbosmart HyperGate 40. Although a generic dump tube is better than nothing, we suggest pairing this with the 3P Performance Dump Tube located on our site.
For the turbine housing, 0.63 A/R is a smaller housing that features better spoolup characterstics than the 0.82 housing but is more restricted for high rpm flow. The 0.82 is the opposite and will spool a little slower, but have much more flow capacity at the high rpm ranges allowing for better peak power.
