For those looking to piece together the external wastegate turbo from ATP into a kit, look no further. This is the one stop solution for the entire EWG Bolt-On kit for the Mazdaspeed 3. Just select which turbo you would like the kit to come with and the price will automatically adjust for you. The EWG housing is a direct fitment for the GT3071R/GTX3071R and the GT3076R/GTX3076R turbos. The standard GT3071R does not come with the anti-surge porting standard like all the other turbos mentioned so that is optional. The entire kit comes complete, ready to install and run on all Mazdaspeed 3's. You don't have to worry about upgrading the exhaust manifold to go EWG if you don't want to. This is a great way to benefit from an external wastegate without having to upgrade the stock manifold. In addition, all stock style downpipes are also compatible with this kit.

Warning mazdaspeed6 kit
Overall the quality of the parts are top notch. Garrett turbo is great quality and the Tial external wastegate was a perfect fit for the tight fitment. However can not give 5 star becuase if buying the kit for a speed6 ( gtx3076r with EWG not all parts in the picture come with the kit resulting in spending even more money. Edgeautosports customer service was great and pointed me to a vendor for an oil drain line but would have been nice to know the picture is not what you are actually getting. Would also have been nice if the kit came with a oil feed line. Over an extra $200 in parts to get up and running.

GTX3076, Built motor
I was very impressed with this kit. All hardware minus turbo to manifold gasket and turbo to down pipe gasket is included. The kit bolts right up with zero issues. A primary EGR delete does make this install much easier. Tightening the bolts for the v band flanges can be difficult and a second set of hands helps greatly. be sure to angle the dump tube so it is not pointing towards your power steering lines because it WILL burn them. ATP seems to have corrected the issue with the oil return line being to long. The new one is much better with zero kinks. Turbo spool on spring pressure and no waste gate duty cycle is pretty quick, not k04 fast but very good for its size.

GT3076r EWG Kit Awesomeness
Not only did I get exactly what I was looking for but I got expert advice and saved about $500 from what ATP charges. Also the kit was well packaged and bundles with things you would have to buy separately elsewhere. This is an excellent turbo upgrade kit for what im looking to do with it. Only recommendations are to get about 18" of 5/8" silicone hose to replace the short one that comes with it. Its not quite long enough. Other than that I couldnt ask for more. Happy boosting and spend the extra money on the EWG kit. No boost creep issue and the sound of the wastegate dumping is worth the extra money every time you spool up.
