SPEC billet flywheels are manufactured and developed for specific driving environments and recommended based on how each car reacts to changes in rotating mass. SPEC flywheels are NOT a one-fits-all lightweight flywheel, though they can be used for an array of driving habits and racing/high performance applications. Consult a SPEC representative for a recommendation. Manufactured from only the highest quality steel and aluminum, they are the only flywheels on the market manufactured to a .001 machine tolerance, guaranteeing a flat seating surface for the clutch and smooth rotational qualities for perfect balance and extended engine life.

*This kit is for use with part numbers SF331-4, SF332-4, SF333H-4, SF333-4, SF333F-4, SF334-4, and SF335-4.  This flywheel is for us with the non-SAC (non stock style) Spec clutch kits only.

    Feels great!

A little noisy when the AC is on but I don't mind it. Also, a little shutter from a stop but I like it! No complaints here!!

Great Flywheel option, don't listen to the internet naysayers

Like most, I saw alot of conflicting information online when it comes to picking an Aluminum Flywheel. I can honestly say it feels great, and is perfectly streetable. It isn't any harder to drive and to take off with from a stop. The faster revs while in boost feel awesome. The only slight downside is that there is some gear noise at idle, especially with the A/C on. Plus some additional gear noise while in gear under throttle. There is no getting around this when you go from the Dual mass flywheel to the Aluminum single mass flywheel due to the nature of the transmission design. I don't mind it at all personally, and feel it's well worth the gains. The stock DM flywheel weighed around 24.5 lbs......vs 10.5 lbs for the SPEC flywheel. So a 14 lb reduction is well worth a little gear noise and definitely an improvement you can feel. Highly recommend it
