JBR Solid Shifter Bushings Mazdaspeed 3 2007-2013

I should have bought these way sooner. My shifter now feels like how it should’ve felt from the factory.

The solid shifter bushings give a very confident feel with the transmission. You know exactly where everything is and there no previous slop. 6/5 would easily recommend as the first mod to do on the speed3.

These shifter bushing are honestly great! The bushings did a fantastic job of tightening/smoothing my shifts and making it even more satisfying to row the gears. The bushings removed a lot of the sloppy feeling you get on the stock rubber bushings. Overall it is a fantastic mod for the money and it only took about 45 minutes to install (It shouldn't take that long, but I took my time). One tip I would give is to push the stock rubber bushing down and out of their housing instead of trying to pull them up and out (it is much much easier that way).

I recently purchased a GenPu. The first set of upgrades were JBR short shifter, shifter bushings, and CPE stage-2 RMM. With just the shifter bushings installed, I noticed an immediate difference in shifting. It was more smooth and precise. Add the other mods, and this car shifts effortlessly and shows in my dig-times.

I installed these because the stock shifting experience isn't that great on a BK MPS. They do add a slightly more solid and substantial feeling to shifting, although not that much in my case as my original bushings were in perfect condition. Along with other supportive mods such as an RMM, definitely a worthwhile long-term investment that improves driving enjoyment.

These bushings are perfect to complete your shifting experience. I replaced them while doing a short shifter, which is the perfect time to fit these in!
