Note:
Hawk Performance burnishes its High Performance Street brake pads as a final step in the factory, but all brake pads have to be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) that they will be used against. Properly bedding-in new brake pads results in a transfer film being generated at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance.
Bed-in Instructions:
- After installing new brake pads, make 6 to 10 stops from approximately 30-35 mph applying moderate pressure.
- Make an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 40 to 45 mph.
- DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!
- Allow 15 minutes for brake system to cool down.
- After step 4 your new pads are ready for use.

good pads
I havnt been running these for long and I havnt raced with them on yet but in the few hundred miles that I have drove they feel good and don't put off too much dust.

Good Pads!
At 60K, I replace the OEM pads with HPS pads on my speed3. OE pads have ~1/4 material left, could have change out the pads later. Bed-in the pads according to the instruction on box. Similar to other reviews of the pads, it has less initial bite. I think this is because the pads are cold. Once they are warm up (1-2 normal applications), they stops well. bring the car down to a haul with no fuss.They do dust, but definitely less than OE.
