DBA Street Series X-Gold slotted and drilled brake rotors have a greater level of braking performance than most traditional slotted and drilled rotor designs. The rotor features non-directional cross-drill and slot design resulting in a quieter, more responsive, and smoother pedal feel. Paint protection is located on all non-friction areas. The cross drills and slots allow for the ultimate heat resistance and gas removal ability from the rotor. Wet weather performance is also greatly increased with DBAs cross drilled design.
DBA’s patented “Kangaroo Paw” vane design, which is located in the center of the rotor, has an extremely unique pattern with 144 diamond and tear drop shaped pillars allowing for better pad loading and even weight distribution as the brake rotor spins. This gives the brake rotor the ability to cool faster while maintaining dimensional strength and stability. The brake rotor’s efficiency can be increased up to 20% over conventional rotor designs.
