This twin disc features 1 ceramic disc and 1 organic disc along with an aluminum flywheel, release bearing, and alignment tool. There are very few cars that would ever go past the power and torque level this clutch kit can hold on the Civic 1.5T, if any. Engagement is much more direct than the factory clutch, along with a harder pedal due the stiffer pressure plate design. Although it is harder than stock, it's not quite as difficult as a high torque single disc setup. With 2 discs, much of the pressure and friction is split between a much larger overall surface area than a single disc, allowing better engagement and higher capacity of friction and heat.
This is kit is the street version, featuring one ceramic disc and one organic disc. The race version features two ceramic discs for more aggressive use.
Please be aware that this clutch is not a great daily driver clutch. It's quick to engage, slightly noisy, and chatters some when you're starting the car off. However, if you're looking for the best in performance and torque capacity, this is it.
