The Autotech HPFP kit offers the highest quality, solid engineering, and the greatest value from any high pressure fuel pump on the market.
The Autotech HPFP can achieve flow rates 50% higher than the original pump, essentially removing pump limitations from the equation, even on high-end turbo upgrades.
The problem with the Mazdaspeed 3 and 6 is that the factory High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) internals can't handle the extra fuel demand brought on by upgrading to higher flowing downpipes and intakes. When you add these upgrades, the factory fuel pump will begin to drop like what is shown in this graph.
As you can see, fuel pressure drops hard at peak load and has trouble keeping up. With an upgraded Autotech HPFP, your car will be able to maintain fuel pressure no problem. In fact, the Autotech HPFP Upgrade is the only fuel mod between you and your Mazdaspeed 3 or 6 and making up to 400whp.
It is a good idea to have a Cobb Tuning Accessport at the time of this upgrade as that will allow you to monitor your fuel pressure and give you peace of mind that the HPFP internals were installed correctly. Not to mention all the tuning benefits you get as well.
Autotech Fuel Pump Internals continue to be the benchmark that imitators strive to reach. However, it is not easily duplicated.
- Each piston (9.8mm diameter) and cylinder in Autotech HPFP kit undergo a high-precision grinding processes many times during manufacturing, ensuring that the most precise tolerances are maintained through the final step. Not the cheapest way to make them but the best way.
- Each piston and cylinder are match-ground and serialized to ensure absolute precision and the utmost longevity.
- Autotech was the first to incorporate plasma DLC coating on HPFP components to reduce friction losses and increase performance. Others have tried to follow by adding a coating to their parts. However, the DLC process alone is not enough, it is not a cure for substandard precision. The parts must be precisely engineered for the process to take full advantage. The success we have in the field can attest to that.

never dips below 1600psi!
My fuel pressure is solid now. I installed these auto tech internals on my 2012 speed3 and now i hold 1700-1900 psi strong during WOT. i recently had my car tuned and everything is looking solid at 21psi on stock K04. The install was straight forward. I removed my cobb intake/turbo inlet hose for more room but it was not necessary. Install tip: the 18mm socket needed to break the internals free must be a DEEP 1/2 socket. Thin walled. Enjoy and happy boosting!

surface rust :/
First I would like to say that besides my internals the rest of my order was spot on. My JBR boost tubes and bpv hose were in perfect condition and arrived pretty quickly, as well as my CPE TMIC. However, my Autotech internals arrived with some surface rust. I was very disappointed in the fact that I spent all this money on them and they weren't in pristean condition upon arrival. I emailed edge and never received a response. Step it up edge, we work hard to mod

Autotech
Great product and service from Edge. The internals are a great quality and somewhat easy to install. The only thing I can say about this is that the instructions are not the greatest, but there is a lot of video on YouTube on how to. I recommend this to everyone. Cheers

great Fuel Pump
I could notice the difference in performance with this product and also on my average mpg lol but it's to be expected. It probably dropped 2-3 mpg. It's my DD so I could notice the difference.

Easy to install and best quality on the market
These are the best fuel pump internals you can buy for your car, they have been around for a long time and proven time and time again. All the others are just copies and knockoffs of these that often fail to meet the quality

works
Does what its supposed to do.

Autotech HPFP Internals for 2008.5 MazdaSpeed 3
Once again. Great service from edge. Free shipping with the internals hitting my door in less than a week from purchase date. After receiving the internals I inspected them before install. Perfect product. The next day I installed them. Right away I could tell the difference from my stock internals that were failing at high rpm and even dropping back to idle after being in upper rpm range. I let them break in for about 200 miles. Wanted to make sure everything was done correctly on my end as far as the install. The internals hold consitant pressure at or a little above 2000 psi at wot. Next is to get my e25 mix going again and enjoy some corn fed goodness. Thanks again for the excellent product and support. I will continue to use edge as my primary parts supplier. 5 stars all around.

Great upgrade
With this upgrade it is hard to describe as you cannot see it and it makes no audio or visual difference, but what I have noticed is my fuel pressure is solid and my engine has not exploded :D So all in all great product, and fast shipping.
