The Cobb Rear Motor Mount is the best way to minimize engine movement, improve traction, and reduce wheel hop without major impact to NVH. Typical bushing designs can rattle your teeth out at idle or during throttle input. The Cobb RMM utilizes unique voids custom molded into the 85A durometer bushing to absorb vibrations, but still reduce engine movement to aid getting all the power to the ground. The beautifully machined 6061 billet aluminum mount with zinc hardware will make you sad you have to hide it under your car.

Cobb Rear Motor Mount - Focus RS

Posted by Unknown on Jul 1st 2019

I had previously installed a JBR rear mount in my RS and while it did fix the wheel hop but the NVH levels were not something I could live with. The Cobb piece is very well made, it quelled the hop, and its almost as comfortable as the stock mount. I should have bought this mount to begin with. Thank you Edge Autosport for recommending it. Great piece.

    Cobb rear motor mount

Fitted up my rear motor mount when I was installing my new turbo. Fit and finish are excellent, really helped with and annoying clunk when downshifting. Coupled with the Cobb traction control really makes putting power down in the lower gears a lot easier. Only thing worth noting is increased vibration at idle especially with the A/C on. Overall great product

    Cobb RMM

Well, definitely not what I expected. You feel a lot more vibrations than I expected and even more if the A/C is on!! For a daily driver, I recommend spending your $$ elsewhere.

    BEST MOUNT EVER

Posted by Martin Dorsett on Mar 27th 2015

Okay so I didn't install it myself but if I had I estimate an hour of labor max. Took it to 42 Autosports in Concord NC and they had it swapped in like 30 minutes with a lift. First impressions? I'm wildly impressed! The car feels 100x more solid and that godawful clunking sound is gone when I shift. The cabin noise and vibration is sexy. Seriously. It feels like the car is going to launch into space. Highly recommend this mod and highly recommend edgeautosport.com! Delivery was fast and easy and the part is awesome. Thanks guys!

    Awesome! Much racecar!

This mount is super easy to install. It took my buddy and I about a solid hour while the car was on jack stands.Overall, be prepared for vibrations.. BUT they are NOT bad. I've read so many people on focusst.org cry and complain about vibrations ruining their car. If anything, the minor vibes make the car feel sturdy, solid, and connected. I'm running a 205/55/16 winter setup right now but so far pulling out/lightly launching feels amazing. Shifting is also improved being that you don't feel the engine bouncing back and forth on 1-2 and 2-3. Thank you Edge and thank you Cobb!

    awesome worth every penny

Love doing mods that make your car stronger, more dependable, and safer. Do you love support mods for your go fast bits. This is the product for you cheap and priceless. The car does not wheel hop any more it just chirps into second. The car has a rumble type vibration at idle that is not harsh its nice and after 100 or more miles of break in it gets much more subtle and nearly goes away its still there a bit but you can feel the engine its a very nice feeling. When you do a slow start at a light the clutch and engine seem to work together like they where suppost to and no double clutching is necessary. Smooth engaging takoffs. Motor doesn't buck around. Car has more traction. The vibes as they are called by others are nice but if your scared of them they go away after break in. Win win win rarely is there a part likee this that is all take and no give. You dont give anything up there is no trade off this part is a must worth 500-1000$ in my opinion. Hope you get one and enjoy it like I do!!!

    That's THE motor mount

Great quality, and very very few NVH for a 85a durometer. I Owned a 70a by JBR, and this Cobb is so much quieter, really better than JBR, it's night and day...

NVH so liltle not worth talking about. took longer jack car up than put on. new car once under took under five minits tacking time. shifts smoother and does everything clamed car feel sturdey now worth the money. also clutch has a more direct feeling and corning it keeps car flatter less motor roll = less bodey roll better handling.
