Tein Flex A Coilovers focus on a high performance design that doesn't sacrifice ride quality. The twin tube style shock allows for a higher level of comfort over a larger variety of surfaces than a mono tube style shock. Ride height is adjustable through the shock body so that the full stroke of the shock is utilized no matter what height you have the car set to. Dampening levels are adjustable with 16 different settings per shock. The Flex A for the Subaru WRX and STI 2015+ features upper mounts for a full suspension replacement and front camber adjustability. The Flex A coilovers are compatible with the EDFC system from Tein for electronic, in-cabin adjustment of the shock dampening levels. A hydraulic bump stop is used inside the shock body to simulate the same thing a bushing style bump stop does but with much better control and resistance than a physical, outer bump stop.
