This clutch is designed with racing in mind. Not a good option for a daily driver. Engagement is very abrupt.
This system is built to handle heavily modified vehicles with a focus on drag racing. The pressure plate is designed to give a very short pedal throw with very quick engagement. The disc is a puck design for reduced weight and the disc is assembled from high carbon components and is made from a graphite impregnated ceramic which is suited for drag racing due to its high friction coefficient and rapid heat dissipation.
