South Bend's Stage 1 Clutch Kit for the STI transmissions is based around a solid face clutch disc for optimal comfort and operation but features a stiffer pressure plate capable of holding 565 ft. lbs. of torque. The clutch disc is a hybrid featuring a sintered iron material on the flywheel side and a high metal content organic material on the pressure plate side. The kit comes complete with a pilot bearing, alignment tool, throwout bearing, pressure plate, and clutch disc.
