The PRL Motorsports Helix Air Oil Separator, Black is developed for the Honda Civic Type R FK8 2017-2021 equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L engine. This air oil separator system is designed to remove oil vapor, fuel residue, and moisture from crankcase blowby gases before they are reintroduced into the intake tract through the factory PCV system. Proprietary Helix Air Oil Separation
Inside the canister is a proprietary internal helix that creates controlled centrifugal airflow. As blowby gases pass through the separator, heavier oil particles and moisture are forced toward the outer walls where they condense and collect at the bottom of the unit. The filtered air is then routed back into the intake system, maintaining closed loop operation and proper ECU fueling strategy.
