The PRL Motorsports Helix Air Oil Separator, Black is designed for the Honda Civic 1.5T 2016-2021 to manage crankcase blowby gases in turbocharged direct injection engines. This air oil separator system removes oil vapor, fuel residue, and moisture before these contaminants are recirculated through the factory PCV system and back into the intake tract. By limiting oil contamination in the intake path, the system helps maintain cleaner intake valves, consistent combustion, and stable long-term engine operation.
Proprietary Helix Separation Design
This air oil separator utilizes a proprietary internal helix that creates controlled centrifugal movement inside the canister. As blowby gases flow through the unit, heavier oil particles and moisture are forced outward to the canister walls, where they condense and collect at the base. The separated air is then routed back into the intake system, preserving closed loop operation and proper fueling strategy.
