NGK Iridium IX spark plugs are a high quality performance spark plug featuring an iridium tip for very consistent and stable spark. Iridium also has a very high melting point which keeps it functional in a high heat, high performance engine. The Iridium IX spark plug also features special plating to resist corrosion and seizing.
Commonly used in the Mazdaspeed 3, Mazdaspeed 6, Mazda CX-7 and other engines. This is a one step colder plug (higher heat range) when using on the MZR DISI engine.

NGK plugs for Mazda
really happy with the plugs, I feel like it's made a difference and will be better for the amount of driving I do to have a step colder than OEM.

Needed for Speed
These are the best spark plugs. Went big turbo and Freektune told me these were the only ones I could use. Great quality.
-
Smooth
Went up to stage 2 on my speed3 and these made all the difference, the car idles and pulls much smoother now.

NGK and Edgeautosport. FTW!
Came packaged well and shipped fast. Awesome plugs. I've always been a fan of NGK on any foreign application. Be sure to not use a round gap for these. You'll mess them up. They also sent me stickers to promo brand as asked. Thanks guys!

Great plugs, engine purring
Replaced Denso itv-22's with these NGK. I was happy with the Denso plugs but also thought I would try the NGK, just for kicks. Well, I think they seem a little smoother in operation than the Denso. Also, their construction is more sturdy...thicker ground electrode (more difficult to gap, but possible) and I like how the iridium tip is stepped down in size differently than Denso (seems sturdier). My denso's lasted 15k miles before iridium tips wore down on a few - noticed when engine ran rougher and little more knock. I hope the NGK's last more than 15k, but then again I like working on the speed3 so we'll see

The only plug you should run in a tuned MS3
In the world of turbocharged Mazda's there are 2 choices of plugs. Stock heat range and one step colder for those of us who are tuned. Once you go one step colder, you're back to 2 choices: NGK or DENSO. I choose NGK because they were suggested to me by my peers and they are readily available! I haven't heard anything bad about the DENSO's but that might be because nobody can ever find them! NGK's run smoother and colder allowing your speedy investment to remain in its best shape or a long time.

Second set, still happy
I originally bought these about 2 years ago simply because the Denso's were on back order. Just installed a new set and they have been great. I honestly don't know why everybody wants the Denso's, the NGKs are just as good.

what a gap
make sure you check the gappimg on these plugs because boy were they way off and not the easyiest to regap to the right spec.

Should come Pregapped
While re gaping them wasn't rocket science, I really wish they came gaped or Edge offered an option to gap them for you.

Great product
Replaced my stock spark plugs when I installed my downpipe. Gapped them to spec and haven't had an issue! Great price and arrived fast.
