Product Description
The Full Induction Upgrade for Fiesta ST uses a nice aluminum airbox with fitment of a factory style air filter. The biggest advantage to the Mountune air intake box for Fiesta ST is the added air induction point that allows colder air in. Colder air is denser and therefore makes more power in the motor. In addition, they provide a much nicer silicone intake hose that resists heat better and is much more durable than the factory plastic unit. Finally, it retains the factory air box cover for a factory appearance.
Manufacturer
Mountune began in 1980 in Europe and went directly into racing. They eventually experienced success to the point of Ford giving them the opportunity to build the WRC engines in the Sierra, Escort, and Focus rally cars. Recently, they've been involved World Rally Cross, among other racing that Ford is heavily involved in. Since 2009, they have been building off the shelf performance parts that Ford backs with the factory warranty.
