Mahle Motorsport 4032 pistons for the Mazdaspeed MZR DISI engines are a great street piston for those looking for mild turbo upgrade setups. 4032 alloy is a great material for daily and mild track use due to it's hardness and strength. It doesn't expand as much as an extreme duty 2618 alloy which will be easier on your cylinder walls over time and also allows for a tighter piston to wall clearance. PowerPak pistons feature slipper skirt style forgings which are strong and lightweight. A phosphate coating is used to prevent microwleding in the ring grooves and pin galling. Grafal skirt coating is applied to reduce drag and scuffing on the cylinder.
