Kozmic Motorsports Primary EGR Delete Kit Mazdaspeed 3 2007-2013 | Mazdaspeed 6 2006-2007

$37.04 $38.99 (You save $1.95)

Product Description

Kozmic's primary EGR blockoff plate completely eliminates the EGR system altogether. This will completely remove any chance of exhaust gas recirculation and will make for a bit more room in the engine bay, particularly when you're installing a turbocharger. The plate is CNC'd billet aluminum and very thick to prevent any warpage. This will still need the oem gasket to seal properly. The Kozmic EGR delete plate fits all Mazdaspeed MZR DISI turbo models.

  1. A must for big turbo installs

This primary EGR delete gives much needed room for installing a bigger turbo or just making a turbo swap much easier. Absolutely worth the money. Be sure to save the gasket from your stock EGR to install with this part.

  2. looks nice but....

Ordered this as an alternative to cleaning/replacing my EGR valve when it began to act up again. Out of the package, it is a nice looking piece with good machining and what not. Unfortunately, there are a few obvious (but minor) oversights. First, the nipple fitting to reconnect the coolant hose is on the wrong side of the plate. That in and of itself isn't really a big deal because the design of the plate prevents proper placement to begin with. Second, since the nipple is on the wrong side of the plate, now the coolant hose has to be bent back at a bad angle to connect to it, thereby kinking the hose. No problem. Looking at the hose one quickly determines that flipping the hose around the other way should fix this. Wrong. Now the hose is too short to fit all the way on the nipple fitting. I was barely able to pull the hose half an inch over the tip before I ran out of hose. My last gripe was the lack of a new gasket. I know, reuse the old gasket right? Not in my book. For nearly forty dollars I feel a $6 gasket (I bought a new one a the dealership for this price so retail should be even cheaper) and a $2 longer hose would be really nice to round out this kit. I wound up cleaning and reusing the EGR again after the hose issue so now I have extra parts laying around until I can go get a longer hose to hook it up the next time I do this.

Works as it should, just wish it came with the gasket too.

Easy install. More space under the hood for bigger turbo. Win win

Solid piece & very easy to install, with an excellent return for the time & effort. Sooooo happy to not have that big ol EGR unit wasting space any more! Should have done this a year ago!
