JBR rear motor mounts are offered in 70, 80 and 88 durometers. The 70 durometer is perfect for the street. The 80 is also excellent for street use and tough enough for the Auto-X track and road course. The 88 is the stiffest mount we offer. It's commonly used on the street, for Auto-X and road course racing and it's all about business at the drag strip.

Our 70 and 80 durometer mounts incorporate a bushing nearly 3" in diameter. The largest bushing available in a rear mount of this style. The larger bushing and our proprietary polyurethane formula provide outstanding performance and durability without sacrificing comfort. Comparison testing has proven that they transfer the least amount of NVH (Noise Vibration & Harshness) to the cabin than similar mounts in their class.

The JBR 88 durometer mount utilizes a smaller 1.5" diameter bushing. The smaller, harder bushing has less deflection. This translates in to performance unsurpassed by any other mount on the market. This mount can handle anything you plan to throw at it.

If you're serious about reducing wheel hop and improving shifts, a rear motor mount is an essential modification. From the street to the strip JBR motor mounts get the job done!!

    Amazing

Posted by Jake B on Jul 29th 2013

Before I installed this part on my car, I was already blown away by it's build quality. This thing is solid, especially compared to the stock motor mount, which feels "cheap" and soft in comparison. When hit against a surface, the wishbone mount doubles as a tuning fork, who knew! Installation was simple, it took about 20 minutes start to finish. The entire car feels much more confident now. The block barely moves when revved, and the car sways much less. Wheel hop is gone, handling has improved and shifting is much smoother now. Pairing this with a shift plate/mount and bushings would be a smart move. Overall, there are a lot of positives and this is probably one of the most cost-effective upgrades you can make to your MS3. There is one negative though: the vibrations are prominent, especially at 1500RPM. You really can't escape physics though. This is a stiff mount, so it's to be expected. The plus side is, as others are saying, once the mount has broken (< 1000 miles), the vibrations should begin to fade away. I have only had this mount installed for a few days, but myself, my girlfriend, and my friends don't have an issue with it currently, which is a good thing. I'm planning on getting the side mounts to complete the set, as the added stress from the vibrations will probably cause them to fail soon. Overall: buy this mount. It's a fantastic upgrade.

    Better than the rest!!

Awesome quality product. Much better than another mount I tried. The vibes are very much there but I absolutely love them. Torque steer is gone and wheel hop is a thing of the past. Thanks JP from Edge and thanks JBR

    Mazdaspeed3 needs this!

This is my second rmm, first was a AWR... was still too soft, and died within 15k miles. The JBR feels awesome. The vibes force you to rev higher and sooner= more power. The car even sounds better. 100% easier to make tire smoke if that's what you want, and immediate hook-up into 2nd and 3rd gear- where my AWR would tend to hop and wobble. Get the JBR!

    nice noticeable difference.

Great craftsmanship on the piece instal took 30 minutes. No vibration at idle just a little around 1500rpm's. Takes off and shifts smoother. Well worth the money. Being ran on a fully bolted 07 speed3 with bigger Turbo.

    Amazing rmm

If you already have the pass and trans motor mounts, then this is the perfect rmm to finish the trio. Excellent quality and extremely easy to install. Makes you feel connected to the car as well as a more solid shift when heavy into the throttle. And when combined with the other mounts, makes a major difference in the way the car puts power to the wheels. I originally had the StreetUnit 62 duro rmm, and still felt a difference with the jbr!

    Jamie Well Done!

Another awesome product by JBR. This thing is very well built, the photos don't do justice for the craftsmanship of this mount. Its defiantly stiffer then the stock mount, but now my car puts more power down to the road! Man there is a huge difference! The mount is powder coated black and the welds are very seamless. I defiantly will be buying the side mount package (passenger, and transmission mounts) as soon as I can! Well done JBR!

It does what it says it does

Product works as expected. Engine is much stiffer and it can be felt instantly. Car in idle does shake a bit, obviously gets stronger as you accelerate from first. From then on to the 6th gear you don't feel much shake. I personally don't even notice it unless my RPMs get to low. It does take a bit to get used to and all other users have stated it does take a few weeks for it to settle. Well worth the purchase.
