The Ford OEM timing chain tensioner comes preloaded to install on the timing chain tensioner guide and will restore tension in the chain for proper operation under all driving conditions. This is a Ford genuine OEM part.
NOTE: Ford had a complete revision to this part and it is very different compared to the original version in the Focus ST and other 2.0 EcoBoost models. This is the new version and it requires a new bolt to mate it to any engine currently using the old style.
