Our aluminum flywheels are made from the highest quality 6061 T6 aluminum. The material is fantastic for strength, heat dissipation and of course reduction in weight.
BODY - 6061 T6 ALUMINUM Tolerances machined to +/- .001 6061 T6 has an ultimate tensile strength of at least 42,000 psi and a yield strength of at least 35,000 psi.
RING GEAR - 1050 STEEL / HEAT TREATED Heat treated for durability. The gears are heated then pressed on and secured with grade 8 button screws.
REPLACEABLE FRICTION PLATE - 1045 STEEL The friction surface we use is an incredibly strong 1045 steel. The plates are milled to meet our high specifications. With these replaceable plates there is no need to replace the entire flywheel when the clutch or flywheel is at the end of it’s life, saving time and money.
BUTTON SCREWS - GRADE 8 Increased security helping fasten the ring gear to the flywheel.
FASTENERS - MILITARY SPEC Military grade aerospace fasteners aid in pulling heat away from the clutch face. Properly spaced for form and function.
STEPPED DOWELS - STEEL Once pressure plate is installed they become locked in place. First in the industry to implement the use of stepped dowels.

Great Fly Wheel
No issues on install, easy to drive, quicker gear changes, less effort for the motor to spin and very affordable price. There is a little chatter but hardly noticeable. Highly recommend this for DD and people who are not after crazy power output.

Worth Every Penny
My clutch was on it's way out and needed to be replaced, I wasn't sure if the OEM flywheel in my car was gong to be reusable, aaaand it costs 1k, so I was on the look out for an aftermarket flywheel. I've always heard great things about Fidanza and I can say I've joined the club. Going from 23lbs to 11lbs on the flywheel makes it a LOT more rev happy, and I find myself shifting a lot more, mainly because I'm in the break in period. I have the OEM clutch kit with this flywheel and I highly recommend it to anyone with a speed6 or even a speed3. There is a bit of chatter, but it's expected when you drop such a dramatic amount of weight. Thanks EAS!

Perfect
Replaced my stock DMF, with this aluminum Fidanza. It's like day and night. Quicker shifts, quicker revs, although some chatter, it is worth the performance. Keep the stock LUK clutch and haven't had any problems yet, now 10,000 miles in. Worth it is my view.

Its like a different car!
This product is great! The car feels so responsive now. I have combined this flywheel with an LUK clutch and it feels fantastic, so smooth! EdgeAutosport was great with me! UK postage was affordable and quick!

Great upgrade with stock clutch
While I was adding a quaife ATB differential to my 07 Mazdaspeed 3, I decided to replace it with a stock LUK clutch and this Fidanza flywheel. Having bought the car used recently, I didn't realize until I opened the trans up that there was an ACT clutch and flywheel already in. The ACT clutch was not fun in traffic and really didn't impress me. The Fidanza flywheel does help you get up in revs quicker. Expect to live with a flywheel chatter inside and out at idle though. If you have the clutch engaged at idle, the chatter is gone. I also like the fact that the wear plates are INEXPENSIVE AND REPLACABLE!!!.
