Are you looking to improve the power and torque on your performance vehicle, but don’t have time, or are not located close enough to a dyno shop? With eTuning, custom calibration is as easy as opening an email and downloading a file.
To be eligible for a custom eTune, you must first have purchased a Cobb Tuning Accessport. The Accessport allows you to flash the custom calibrations to your vehicle.
E-Tuning is a form of custom calibration processed through email rather than in person. The customer is responsible for completing specific types of datalogs and emailing them to the calibrator. The calibrator, or tuner, then sends a revision to the customer after analyzing the datalogs. Through this process, a custom calibration can be completed.
Upon purchasing an eTune, you will receive an email requesting more info about your car and your specific goals so that a base map can be created for you. The base map will be emailed to you along with instructions for how to datalog as well as what to datalog. Once datalogs are received, they will be analyzed, and a revision will be created to further optimize your vehicle until the calibration is complete.
Our e-tune welcome letters and initial correspondence are automated and may be marked as spam - please make sure to check your spam filters and folders if not received within 72 hours.
eTuning Options:
Fuel choice – You can run a single fuel map, a dual fuel map, or a flex fuel map depending on your vehicle and the modifications available for it. Dual fuel/Flex Fuel refers to running both a pump gas map and an ethanol map. Ethanol allows for considerably more power to be had while reducing risk to the vehicle.
Turbo – A larger turbo requires more in-depth calibration than the factory turbo.
Auxiliary Fuel – On direct injection platforms, most of the vehicles we work with are generally limited to around 400whp. Adding auxiliary fuel, whether it's extra injectors in a port injection configuration or methanol nozzles, requires extra calibration to get everything working in harmony with the factory ECU.
**All etuning services have a 60 day window of service from the time the initial calibration is sent to the customer. During this time, you are allowed to make minor changes to the car and still receive updated maps for those changes during that time. Minor changes include bolt-on parts such as intake, intercooler, downpipe, exhaust, intercooler piping, etc. However, any major change of the customer's setup will require a complete new tune to be purchased. This includes upgraded turbos, nitrous, auxiliary fuel, methanol injection, camshaft upgrades, etc. The 60 day window does NOT include time you need to repair the car. If your car is in need of repair after we send the first calibration and it remains out of service through the 60 day window, no refunds will be given and a new tune must be purchased after the 60 day window.

Great Experience, Amazing Tuner
It has been a great experience from start to finish. From the many emails back and forth requesting information and advice before making my purchases to the very last tuning file. Alan has got to be the best rated Focus ST tuner out there. His responses to my questions during the tuning process were super fast and each different tuning file was sent to me within 24 hours of me sending him the requested data log. We installed a GTX2867R with .64 a/R, Xtreme DI HPFP35 high pressure fuel pump, Xtreme DI fuel injectors, cp-e GESI downpipe, cp-e Delta Core intercooler, Mishimoto thermostatic oil cooler, Radium Engineering PCV baffle plate, AEM V3 WMI kit (not purchased from Edge) and CV Fabrication charge pipes with the HKS blowoff valve (not purchased from Edge and wish I had purchased something else). The ADD1 oil catch cans were installed long ago. After installation, we installed the base tune. It was extremely conservative but that was just to get me started. Once the first data log was sent and I received version 1.01 the fun began. In all I received 9 "experimental" tuning files before receiving my final tune (Version 1.10). The final tune (Version 1.10) came with 4 total maps- 1. 93 octane with no WMI, 2. Low boost/eco with no WMI, 3. 80/20 WMI and 4. 50/50 WMI. As requested, the annoying shift light is turned off. The car feels amazing. I am so grateful for all the hard work Alan has put into making this happen. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to e-tune their Focus ST to do it with Alan. You will be very happy from start to finish. UP NEXT... 2015 VW GTI with an EQT Vortex turbo, do88 intercooler and charge pipes, EQT TMAP and PUT sensors, and Autotech HPFP. Tuner: None other than the great Alan from Edge Autosport.

Edge autosports E Tune
Currently working through tune revisions with Allen now. I'm chose a 93 octane and an E30 dual fuel. Thus is only the 3rd revision of 93 octane, and I'm very impressed with how much the car wakes up with each revision. I'm excited to move on to the E30. Allen has answered multiple questions I've come across, in regards to what different gauge readings mean and what might effect the results. Highly recommend an EdgeAutosport tune over the Cobb OTS tunes.

Etune
I had done a ton of research before purchasing a Focus ST, in fact probably a year before purchasing the car i knew I wanted Alan at Edge Autosport to tune the car. The customer support is great and working directly with Alan has been a pleasure. I would send anyone i know to Edge before any other company hands down!

This turbo is a nice upgrade if your old turbo goes out. After market bov that was on stock turbo does not fit on this turbo so get a new one.

I expected a bit more performance but Alan definitely exceeded expectations. Turn around from buying to having a complete tune was great. I love driving my car even more than I did before, and thats saying something. Go with Edge Auto/Alan for your tune and you won't regret it!

Thanks to Alan for the big turbo tuning. Smooth process, informative, and the car rips. We took it a bit further than most on stock motor, but i am confident on the safety. hit these guys up if you want a smashing tune!
