Product Description
DBA HD 4000 Series XS slotted and drilled brake rotors feature DBA’s XG-150 High Carbon Alloy Iron and Thermal Stability Profiling technology for the ultimate in high performance braking. Taking the X-Gold design a step further and creating an extremely effective slot and drill pattern makes these rotors a great choice for scavenging heat and gases from the brake rotor when you need it the most. Heat paint markings also come standard to help you determine how hot your brakes are getting in those high performance scenarios. All the standard DBA features are included, and then some.
DBA’s patented “Kangaroo Paw” vane design, which is located in the center of the rotor, has an extremely unique pattern with 144 diamond and tear drop shaped pillars allowing for better pad loading and even weight distribution as the brake rotor spins. This gives the brake rotor the ability to cool faster while maintaining dimensional strength and stability. The brake rotor’s efficiency can be increased up to 20% over conventional rotor designs.
With DBA rotors, the surface level is machined to the micron level which provides an extremely smooth disc surface so brake pads do not wear too quickly and the bed-in is much healthier. This smooth of a surface is better suited for large fluctuations in temperature in higher performance applications.
