DBA Club Spec 4000 Series T3 Slotted Rotors represent a high level of braking performance in today’s extremely demanding performance levels. Built on the same design as the T2 slots, the T3 adds several more gas scavenging slots to the rotor face, going from 32 slots in the T2 to 48 slots in the T3. The tri-symmetrical curved slots dampen vibration harmonics and increase the amount of exit points for brake pad friction gases to escape through. Even further sound dampening and smoother brake pedal feel are a result. The design also removes the need for directional rotors, allowing you to use one rotor for both sides. Increase the consistency and effectiveness of your brake setup with a highly advanced rotor setup like the DBA T3 slotted rotor.
DBA’s patented “Kangaroo Paw” vane design, which is located in the center of the rotor, has an extremely unique pattern with 144 diamond and tear drop shaped pillars allowing for better pad loading and even weight distribution as the brake rotor spins. This gives the brake rotor the ability to cool faster while maintaining dimensional strength and stability. The brake rotor’s efficiency can be increased up to 20% over conventional rotor designs.
With DBA rotors, the surface level is machined to the micron level which provides an extremely smooth disc surface so brake pads do not wear too quickly and the bed-in is much healthier. This smooth of a surface is better suited for large fluctuations in temperature in higher performance applications.
