It is well known that the stock rear motor mount on the MS3 is a weak link and cp-e™ has chosen to think outside the box on this and come up with a completely new design.
FEATURES
*Billet CNC construction
*EPDM Bushing to protect rubber from overheating
*Stainless Hardware
*Vertically mounted bushing increaseÂ’s durability.
*Machined additional pockets to create lightweight but strong mount.
*Step by step installation directions
To do this cp-e™ carefully studied the layout of the stock MS3 Engine Mounts. While designing the side engine mounts it was determined that a better design could be achieved on the rear mount as well.
The way the Mazda engine mount system works is that the two side mounts provide a rotational mounting point, if just these two mounts are installed without a lower engine mount the bottom of the engine is free to swing like a pendulum. Now if you take the stock engine mount and put it in place with its horizontally mounted bushing and you apply some power, it will stop the engine from swinging but you are now stressing the bushing in two directions. These types of bushing are not really meant for this.
So cp-e™ came up with a way to stress the bushing in only one direction, by remaking both sides of the engine mount cp-e™ was able to mount the bushing vertically so now the pendulum affect of the engine is stretching or pushing in only one direction. This also increases the durability of the engine mount substantially.
To accomplish this two blocks of aluminum, starting at 15.81 lbs are slowly whittled down over the course of a couple of hours in our CNC machine to a final weight of 3.53 lbs. This process takes a lot of time but was necessary to give our customers what they want.

Superb
CP-E does not disappoint. Super high quality and beautiful. I went with this one to keep the vibrations down in my car but still get great performance out of it. Highly recommended.

CPE Flex Stage 2
The installation was done in about 25 minutes. The vibrations have become more but in a reasonable frame. I should have installed it much earlier. The car just feels right now.

Stage2 cpe flex mount
This rmm kicks ass and I should have done it a long time ago.! Thank you guys for all my mods.!

Excellent RMM
This mount is great, there is a slight increase in vibration on take off but it makes the car feel soooooooooo much better. It actually made my car feel slower as the car is no longer out of control when I go to WOT. This is a great DD upgrade for the car and worth every penny.

Best RMM
Stage-2 is the way to go. The added NVH is minimal and only noticeable at low RPMS. This RMM eliminated almost all wheel hop and torque steer. Install was a breeze and finished in 35 minutes, including prep time.

I Like It!
I can't compare this to any other quality mounts, but the rubber bushing in this mount is silky smooth. Seems very rebuild-able as well, which is a bonus.

Great perfect rear mount
motor in place a lot better than the flimsy stock rmm

PERFECT MOUNT
This is definitely the perfect mount if you are looking for comfort oriented performance. Prior to this mount I had the JBR 88duro mount, and it had too many vibrations for me. It was so bad my in car Bluetooth would not work as well (people on the other end would complain about noise). Once I installed the stage 2 CP-E everything returned to normal, and I can now enjoy my car again. Keep in mind there will be a slight breaking in period

Great rear motor mount
I've had this mount on my '13 speed3 for about 16k miles now and have had no problems. It doesn't transmit too many vibrations into the cabin, but definitely holds the motor in place a lot better than the flimsy stock rmm. I have a bit of a hot spot of vibrations around around 800-1000 rpm, which has remained pretty consistent since I installed it(died off a little after ~1000 miles). Would highly recommend!
