Brian Crower's titanium retainer and valve spring kit for Honda's L15B7 engine in the 10th Gen Civic is designed to lighten up the drivetrain, decreasing parasitic loss on the powertrain and making the engine happier in the higher rpms. The springs are 58 lbs/in seated. This stiffer spring allows the valve to close on time and stay connected to the cam profile at all times for a higher revving engine. This upgrade can be peformed on an otherwise stock valvetrain and does not require machining or modification to the valvetrain or cylinder head.
