Manufacturer
Little needs to be said of Bilstein's reputation. They are worldwide for a reason. Their suspension components originate in Germany and are made with very strict quality standards (high standards at that) and it's shown with Bilsteins reach. They are actively involved in all motorsports from grassroots to the top racing series in the world. With automotive products first being released as early as 1927, it's no wonder why Bilstein is just plain awesome. They've been around a long time and they've performed an unmeasurable amount of research and development into creating and innovating the best suspension systems in the world.

So far, so good!
I made the mistake of buying Koni FSDs for my '07 MS3 a couple of years ago. From the beginning, I wasn't impressed. Long story short, 3 of the 4 shocks on my car failed - the rears after barely 20k. I'm now sitting on the B6s. What a difference. No more bottoming out on the bump stops. They ARE firm, but my car isn't being jolted every few seconds. They absorb the hits nicely, which is key here on the bad roads in CT. It's nice to have my car back to normal after all this time.
