**FITMENT NOTE: If you are installing these coilovers on a 2010-2013 model year Mazdaspeed 3, you will need to purchase 2 lower control arm bolts for the lower shock mount. The 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed 3 uses a shorter bolt that does not fit with this shock. You can find the correct bolt here.
BC Racing BR Type Coilovers are their flagship line that gives you the ultimate adjustability of height and dampening and allows you to maintain a solid street setup while being able to handle occasional track duty. Shocks are built using the monotube style and include the front camber plates and upper mounts for a full suspension replacement from top to bottom.

Big improvement from previous coilovers
Car rides a lot better now! I have it set 10 clicks above the softest level and I find it to be comfortable and handles corners pretty nicely. I used to have Megan racing coilovers and they creaked like crazy and had a harsh ride. They were cheap fix from stock, but only lasted me 2 years (23k miles) until the shock in the strut Tower broke through. definitely spend the extra money to get a quality brand, this isn't something you want to cheap out on. Out of box minimal adjustment was needed. I only had to tighten the lock rings. Camber on front seems to be stock as well. This may not apply for everyone, but I found the OEM strut bolts on my 2011 Mazdaspeed 3 to fit just fine in the strut, I didn't need to purchase the new ones. But get them just in case as experience may vary. Rear makes a bit of noise, but my brother says it's pretty normal and same sound comes from his set on his GTI. Other than that, in the rear, the rear spring seat that sits in the lower arm has a bolt you take out then clamp underneath via the bolt and plate. Pretty straightforward install, comes with everything needed, and I wish I bought these sooner!

Different body styles
Gen1 speed 3’s and gen 2 speed 3’s have different mounting points for rear struts, the gen one style can work on the gen 2 with spacers but they should not be selling this product for all body styles if they don’t fit correctly on the 2010+ speed 3’s

Money well spent!
Konis and Bilsteins were unobtainable when I was ready to buy, so the friendly folks at Edge suggested these instead. Had them installed at a local shop, first thing I noticed was that the car didn't rock when I got into the driver's seat. On my first test drive I could hold the line at higher speeds on my favorite on- and off-ramps. My daily commute covers some poorly maintained town roads; with all the adjustable bits set slightly to the stiff side, the ride is still comfortable. I ran a track day at NHMS, Loudon NH last year with the original factory setup, and again just after installing these. On the track, the BC Racing setup is VASTLY superior to stock. I don't know how they compare to other packages, but for what I'm doing (creating a summertime daily driver that's also a decent track/autocross car), it works. Only one minor flaw. The rears are adjustable, but, on a Mazdaspeed 3, unless you cut holes in the rear towers, you have to take everything apart to access the adjustment knobs.

Just Alright. Nothing Special
I always heard that these coils were the best value for money so I bought a set. First off, if you are looking to go super low, these are not the coils you want. The rear goes down pretty far but the fronts don't have anywhere near the drop I was looking for, only about 1.75"-2". At conservative settings for ride height and dampening, these coils do alright. When dampening is adjusted to full soft, the ride is way too bouncy. And full stiff is far too harsh for a daily driver. About 50/50 between soft and stiff is where the ride feels the most comfortable but IMO is still a bit too harsh. You'd be better off getting a nice shock and spring setup if you don't care for height adjustability. The ride quality will be so much better.

Good product
Wanted to get bags but decided to go with BC coils instead. They are as described. Aside from going back to the factory suspension. Or breaking the bank on some extremely wild suspension setup. In my opinion this is a good product.

Top to bottom rebuild!
I needed a new suspension so i went BC Racing. When you buy these expect to look at a 48lbs package. Screw all the talk and flashy intros that some of the other coilover kits where going on about. BC told me what i wanted to know, its sold by edge so it works i bought them and im happy. P.s. whoever took the pictures either used mine for the dsplay or they just naturally look that clean. In short yes exactly like the picture
