The Autotech HPFP kit offers the highest quality, solid engineering, and the greatest value from any high pressure fuel pump on the market.

The Autotech HPFP can achieve flow rates 50% higher than the original pump, essentially removing pump limitations from the equation, even on high-end turbo upgrades.

The problem with the Mazdaspeed 3 and 6 is that the factory High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) internals can't handle the extra fuel demand brought on by upgrading to higher flowing downpipes and intakes. When you add these upgrades, the factory fuel pump will begin to drop like what is shown in this graph.

As you can see, fuel pressure drops hard at peak load and has trouble keeping up. With an upgraded Autotech HPFP, your car will be able to maintain fuel pressure no problem. In fact, the Autotech HPFP Upgrade is the only fuel mod between you and your Mazdaspeed 3 or 6 and making up to 400whp.

It is a good idea to have a Cobb Tuning Accessport at the time of this upgrade as that will allow you to monitor your fuel pressure and give you peace of mind that the HPFP internals were installed correctly. Not to mention all the tuning benefits you get as well.

Autotech Fuel Pump Internals continue to be the benchmark that imitators strive to reach. However, it is not easily duplicated.

  • Each piston (9.8mm diameter) and cylinder in Autotech HPFP kit undergo a high-precision grinding processes many times during manufacturing, ensuring that the most precise tolerances are maintained through the final step. Not the cheapest way to make them but the best way.
  • Each piston and cylinder are match-ground and serialized to ensure absolute precision and the utmost longevity.
  • Autotech was the first to incorporate plasma DLC coating on HPFP components to reduce friction losses and increase performance. Others have tried to follow by adding a coating to their parts. However, the DLC process alone is not enough, it is not a cure for substandard precision.  The parts must be precisely engineered for the process to take full advantage.  The success we have in the field can attest to that.

Easy to install but Autotech needs better directions

Posted by Unknown on Dec 25th 2012

Got my internals installed today and they are working as stated. Autotech could include more pictures to make it a little easier to install but I found many walk through instructions online.

    Time to get pumped!

The guys at Autotech make a consistently great product. This is my second one, the first one has 40k miles on it and is still racking up the miles on a friend's car. My new set of internals were installed last week on my twenty 13, I have put in better than 20 sets of Autotech hpfp internals with all still running without a hiccup. If you want a superior product this is it!

    Peace of mind

Install went pretty easy. Hardest part was getting the fuel pump out of the car. Went decently easy on my car for a day or so. No fuel drop on my MS3 and I'm flashed stage 1 for now. Definitely gives me peace of mind for when I go stage 2 this summer. Simply put... Before these my fuel pressure dropped with stage 1 and now it doesn't

    Must have

Posted by Troy on Nov 20th 2012

Installed these on my MS3, two weeks ago. Went easy on the pump for about 500 miles. Since then I have given the car a workout a few times. I have reached 7000 rpm in third gear with no signs of fuel cut. This is a must when you have serious bolt ons, like upgraded turbocharger etc.

    Great engine security!

These internals add piece of mind when adding performance parts. I installed them solo, and it went okay. The worst part was twice losing the white clip off of the blue fuel line. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to upgrade the Speeds.

A must have for the MS3

First off, EAS has excellent customer service and their prices are very hard to beat! The install went smoothly and the AT internals were top notch! If you own a MS3 or MS6 these fuel pump internals are a must to achieve your power goals safely without any ZZB.

    HPFP Replacment 2011 MS3

Posted by Leo on Sep 4th 2012

I have just installed these internals this past weekend and they are working very well. All I have atm is a COBB AP and a CS Stage II SRI/TIP and I have logged pressures over 2000 psi at WOT with a Stage I map(for CS SRI/TIH) and 93 octane. The internals were quite easy to install and the instructions were easy to follow.I would recommend these for anyone who will want to modify their car for future HP/Torque gains.

    HPFP for mazdaspeed3

Posted by Unknown on Aug 25th 2012

I received this item a while ago for my 08 mazdaspeed3 so I could instal my downpipe without running lean. Price was way better than the other vendors and Eric was able to give me a promo code to make the price even better! Product is quality and while the directions are a little more intense than they should be, they cover all the details needed. Once installed this holds pressure like the original FP should. when at WOT the pump holds at 1650+ psi. So far no issues and its been at least 3-4 months since install. Engine Mods: intake +inlet pipe downpipe fuel pump internals Hypertech tune
