The ATP Turbo front mount intercooler kit for the Mazdaspeed 3 now comes standard with the 600 horsepower capable core. In a Gen 1 Mazdaspeed 3, this will require modification to the bumper. The high quality Garrett core features bare and plate construction and aluminum TIG welded end tanks for a strong, cleanly made intercooler. The piping is 2.5" mandrel bent aluminum and features silicone couplers to mate all the pieces together. All hardware is included in the kit. Please note the picture shows the older style, 400hp core that is no longer available. The 600hp core is a bigger unit.

    great product for great price

I've had this fmic on my speed for a year and a half. My car is low and hasn't hit any piping underneath the car. This product is awesome for the money. Only problem. It didn't come with directions so I looked on the website pics.

    Don't buy.

Mounting brackets are crap, the routing is retarded, there's an extra 2 feet of piping in comparison to other fmics. Sticks out far underneath the car, worried if I hit a speed bump. Plastics underneath don't sit flush now.

    Excellent fitment and product

I purchased the intercooler kit with the 600hp core option. This kit is of the highest quality and absolutely worth the money spent. Couplers and clamps are perfect and the pipe routing is done intelligent and should work with most intakes and BPVs. I also noticed a definite improvement over the stock TMIC in horsepower and torque, not to mention my Boosted Air Temps would only be roughly 20-25F more than ambient.
