Upgrading the intake on the WRX and STI models from 2008-2014 isn't a very hard task but it does help the engine's performance significantly. The AEM cold air intake setup for the Subaru accesses cold air from the front, passenger side fender area and seals it off with a nice heat shield so that the radiant heat from the engine doesn't creep its way into the filter. Colder air is denser and will provide more power. Fitment is spot on and looks great in the engine bay. The finish of the piping is wrinkle red, perfect to add a little performance look on top of the performance feel. Piping is smooth and transitions well into the inlet pipe, making your turbo more efficient at drawing air through the entire intake system.
