Experience exceptional driving with the POCO-Insulated, offering a low-profile design, reduced shift throw, seamless shift boot integration, and an insulated outer shell. In recent years, countersunk knobs have gained popularity for achieving shorter shift throws and reduced knob height without shifter modifications. However, many countersunk knobs fail to integrate well with the shift boot, leaving it sagging and the shift lever exposed. ACUiTY's POCO knob addresses this issue with its low height and built-in shift boot collar, allowing for a very low shift knob height with a clean and finished appearance.
What to Expect
ACUiTY's POCO knobs sit significantly lower than most stock and aftermarket knobs, with a mere 3-4mm above the shift lever when mounted. This low profile results in shorter and firmer shifts, typically 5%-10% shorter than non-countersunk knobs. The POCO stands out as one of the most well-integrated countersunk knobs, featuring a built-in shift boot collar that seamlessly clips into the knob for a perfect finish.
The POCO-Insulated Advantage
The POCO-Insulated enhances its predecessor by combining an insulated acetal outer shell with a stainless steel core, delivering a weighted knob that remains gentle on the hand even in extreme weather conditions.
How it Works
The POCO's boot collar is attached to the shift boot using a low-profile cable tie (3 included in each kit). The knob threads down on the shift lever until it stops. Once both parts are installed, the shift boot collar clips into the shift knob, completing the installation.
Materials and Finish
Each POCO-Insulated features a robust stainless steel inner core and an insulated acetal outer shell with a hand-turned finish. The shift boot collar is aluminum with a satin black anodized finish. The elastomer ring in the knob provides collar retention, similar to ACUiTY's popular 1924 shift boot collars. All lettering is laser-etched for durability.
