ACT's FF3-HDG6 clutch kit for the Focus ST is a full replacement of your entire clutch system from throwout/release bearing to the flywheel. It includes the heavy duty pressure plate which increases the clamping load on the clutch disc and will hold higher levels of torque than the factory pressure plate. The disc is a sprung style to help reduce NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) since it is a using a new single mass flyhweel, instead of the original dual mass flyhweel. The disc is a segmented design with 6 pucks of friction material. This will give you a much more solid feeling, quicker engagement and keep the clutch engaging well through all gear shifts. You will experience more noise and vibration with this kit over the their more basic kit that uses the factory flywheel. However, the engine will be quicker to spin up and react to clutch inputs due to the lighter nature of the entire setup.
This clutch is rated to 565 ft. lbs. or torque at the flywheel. This would be a great clutch for any stock turbo Focus ST with or without supporting power modifications.
All individual components are available separately for any future replacement needs.

Perfect So Far.......
Great Clutch So far! Though still in the break in phase........ Key things I feel like people are concerned about i will describe my exp here: 1. Chatter/noise - Yes there is some chatter but not enough to ruin a person's day in my opinion. Your music volume at 10 ish will drown that out easily....... Definitely not as bad as everyone makes it too be if you are that concerned then stay stock........ 2. Clutch Peddle - Yes the clutch peddle will feel firmer and a tad bit harder to hit. Nothing too crazy, just dont ride the clutch all the time and you will be fine..... - Once you get used to the clutch peddle...... for me like 10 mins of driving, It became as familiar as driving stock, may very to your exp of driving stick ...... - Clutch engagement is a lot earlier than stock, expected and once used to no problems at all.... Last thoughts: - Maybe its just me but I feel like 6 puck clutches are over labeled as too hard too drive..... Yes maybe a tiny bit harder but nothing ball breaking as everyone makes it - I am not pushing the clutch hard yet due to break in period ... but so far going through gear changes is smooth and definitely grabs.... If you are still having doubts after reading this review then just get the full disk or just stay stock and save yourself a few bucks ...
