DeatschWerks in-tank fuel pumps are manufactured with a quiet and reliable turbine impeller which is compatible with pulse width modulated pump drivers. These pumps are also built with carbon commutators and fully encapsulated armatures for ethanol compatibility. DW’s high-torque motors maintain flow at higher pressure better than competitors’ pumps. Low amperage draw minimizes pump temperatures, maximizes pump life and reduces stress on OE wiring. Vehicle-specific pumps include a fitment kit assembled with everything you need for your application. Vehicle specific install instructions are also available on our website to walk you step-by-step through the installation process.

    Check the outlet

Make sure that when you order this, you are getting the pump that has the smooth outlet, not the barbed outlet. I missed this detail when i installed the pump and then spent the next month trying to track down WOT fuel pressure issues. Also, do not discard the plastic clip and O-ring from the OEM pump.

Great product, not too bad of an install

I bought this to solve my problem of the car dying under full throttle. I assumed that the in tank fuel pump wasn't able to pump enough to supply my hpfp. Thankfully I was correct. It is not necessary to drop the tank. You can just trim the surrounding area with a tin snips, which doesn't need to be much.

    maintenance

my factory fuel pump with 92k miles had developed the high pitch wine of a failing unit. instead of buying factory, bought this pump. so far so good. the install did require me to lower the fuel tank on my lift to gain access through the interior.
