Product Description
The B16 PSS Suspension System from Bilstein features independently adjustable rebound and compression settings for the ultimate precision in driver feedback.  Adjustments are designed for the ultimate in comfort or performance and anywhere in between.  Depending on the application, the user is allowed 9 or 10 levels of adjustment for rebound or compression.  Ultimately, this is the best version of an all out race suspension you can buy without getting your own set custom made.  The threaded shock body allows for fine tune adjustment of the ride height of the vehicle, as well.

Bilstein B16 PSS Features:

  • 20mm Thread Adjustment Range
  • 30-50mm Lowering Height Adjustment (Application Dependent)
  • Tested on road by Bilstein engineers for maximum performance capability under harsh conditions
  • Triple-C Coating technology to prevent rust and corrosion for durability
  • Extremely durable spring material and construction
  • BILSTEIN monotube technology, made in Germany
  • Gas pressure technology

Manufacturer
Little needs to be said of Bilstein's reputation. They are worldwide for a reason. Their suspension components originate in Germany and are made with very strict quality standards (high standards at that) and it's shown with Bilsteins reach. They are actively involved in all motorsports from grassroots to the top racing series in the world. With automotive products first being released as early as 1927, it's no wonder why Bilstein is just plain awesome. They've been around a long time and they've performed an unmeasurable amount of research and development into creating and innovating the best suspension systems in the world.

    Feels like a new car

Posted by Marion LaNasa on Jan 3rd 2024

TLDR 120K 2012 Speed3 - before these I was running the factory struts/springs/etc. The OE stuff was tired and creaky (I have beat on this car since 30K). I also live in New Orleans, with terrible streets, so the car can't bottom out or scrape, but still needs to retain sporty-ness. Review - After two weeks and the coils settling, WOW! Love them. No more suspension noise, it is all interior creaks now lol. As others have said these are not for slamming. Based on the fact that I have the rears dropped all the way and still don't scrape or rub this is really for sport/track driving. You can drop it without fear of damage on normal bumps/dips. Takes corners flat af, reminds me of my buddy's new GR86 in ride feel 10/10 - replace your bearings as recommended and enjoy the feeling of a new hot hatch ride :)

    cant fault them

Really not a lot to complain about. They work great. Good value for money. B14 dampening is about mid range of the b16 adjustment i suppose (ive experienced both) so they capable of being quite sport orientated. They can also go more comfortable than stock. They dont crash like stock. If extreme lowering is what youre after, these arent for you. Made for function, not flash. Im making the assumption that those of us looking at adjustable dampening are doing so largely to tune out understeer aswell as comfort vs response. That being said, with these set '3' front and '1' rear and with the help of increasing front camber to -1.5 (seperate part) my car is extremely neutral. I can get the rear out or keep it planted on demand. NOTE!: You need to remove the bump stop on the stock top hats. I got pretty frustrated for quarter of an hour like an idiot
